How do I exclude a keyword or any other related patent field from my search query?

To exclude a particular keyword from appearing in your search you can use the NOT Boolean operator.  

The following steps will help you to exclude a particular keyword from appearing in your search results:

  1. Here, while creating a query, you can select the NOT operator from the download and then add the keywords that you don’t want your result set to contain. As shown in the snap below: 

This way you will able to add NOT in the quick search form. 
 

2. Here, while creating the keyword query you can also combine the words with a NOT operator as shown in the snapshot below:

In this form you can add the keywords and then using the NOT operator add the keywords that you do not want your results to contain, this can be done as shown in the snapshot below:
