How do I screen the records without going into the details?

You can screen the records without going into details using the Standard + KWIC view, Hit Analysis and Split View. 


Standard + KWIC view

Steps to view the Standard + KWIC view
 

  • Enter your search query and click on search to view the results. 
  • On the result page you can set the page view to Standard + KWIC. 
  • In this view you can quickly go through the number of times the search term has occurred and you can also view the part of patent that contains the search term.

Hit Analysis

 Steps to view the Hit Analysis
 

  1. Enter your search query and click on search to view the results. 
  2. On the result page under the view tab, select the hit analysis option. 
  3. This option helps to view the number of times a particular search term has occurred.
  4. Mouse over on a particular number it will show number of times the particular search term is present in title, abstract, claims and description of the document.
