How do I view the technology cycle time?

In Quick Stats under the Technologies section, you can view the Technology Cycle Time of the patents.  

  • It allows you to view charts that show the rate at which new inventions are replacing older inventions in a technology space.  
  • Technology Cycle Time essentially measures how quickly new inventions are replacing older inventions in a technology space.  
  • To view the Technology Cycle Time of the patents  -Click Quick Stats tab on the Project screen  
  • The Quick Stats screen will appear 
  • Select the Pin menu from the left-top corner, as shown in the Figure 
  • Once the drawer opens you will see various options that will help you to create different charts. 
  • Click on the Technologies dropdown menu, and select the Technology Cycle Time option as shown in the Figure 

 

  • Here, you may view a chart that displays the Technology Cycle Time for the technology of interest.
