Non-Latin Search
You can search within non-Latin text without having to learn the different language specific field codes. The non-Latin search form allows you to search in Japanese, Chinese, Korean or Thai language. The option is present within Search tab.

You can search within title, abstract (TA in native-language text); title, abstract, claims (TAC in native-language text); title, abstract, claims, description (TACD in native-language text). In case of assignee/ inventor/ attorney names, it will search in ASNNL/ INVNL / ATNNL (field codes for searching in non- Latin assignee/ inventor/ attorney).
Further, you can even combine non-Latin text fields with other field codes such as dates and classifications. You can select the operator and respective field code from the dropdown menu.
The figure below shows the search form. You can even view the exact query formed within non-Latin search form in the Query Preview section below.

Combining more than one non-Latin language
In order to search keywords across more than one Non-Latin language, you can select the respective tab and enter the keywords in text boxes present next to each code. Terms entered across tabs (different languages) are automatically combined with an OR as the query preview below will show.
Combining with English language
Users can enter search terms in original language and combine the non-Latin keywords with English keywords (as there might be some English text present) to search in native-language patent collection.
The search string can even be combined with any other search string using Combine Search, edit search.
