PatSeer Single Sign on – Okta Configuration

Create an enterprise application in Okta
 

First, we need to create an application on Okta portal.

Login to Okta and click on Applications – Create App Integration

Select SAML 2.0 – Click Next

Type Application Name PatSeer – Click Next

In SAML Settings – Type Single Sign On URL:
https://acc.patseer.com/Auth/AssertionConsumerService
 Audience URL (SP Entry ID):
PatSeer

You need to provide the Audience URL, and Metadata URL to PatSeer to add it into the database.

Go to Create SAML Integration:
Select – I am a Software vendor I’d like to Integrate my App with Okta
 

Click – Finish

Assign users to the application.

Before a user in your tenant can use the application, you must assign the user to it. Go to Applications -> Assignments, click on Assign – Assign to People

Search and select user and click on Assign.

Click Done.

Note: The users created on PatSeer should be added into this application.
