Reranking the records on your result page

The new semantic Re-Rank  feature will semantically re-order your Boolean search results. 

It will arrange the records on your result page based on the semantic similarity to your paragraph or selected records (these are the ones selected amongst the records on the result page)

You can perform the reranking based on 

• Records and 
• Paragraph

1. By Records:

• So, here you can select up to 3 records that are relevant to your analysis and then click on the apply button; 
• Once clicked on apply, the results will be rearranged based on the semantic similarity to the selected record and sorted based on the relevancy.

2. By Paragraph: 

• Here, you can paste a paragraph that aligns with the technology that you are looking for;
• Once clicked on apply, the results will be rearranged based on the semantic similarity to the paragraph that was pasted and sorted based on the relevancy. 

You can also use the rerank option on your filtered records. So if you have applied any filter and use rerank then the filtered records will be rearranged based on the selected records. 

When applying Rerank either by a patent number or paragraph it will get applied as a filter set as shown in the image below:

Note: This option rearranges the results to up to 500 most relevant records from the result set itself.
