Creating an AI search query either by Image or Design number

AI design search leverages image similarity technology to find and recommend designs based on visual characteristics. By analyzing and comparing images, it identifies designs that have similar visual characteristics or closely resemble the input image.

To create a search

1. Upload an image in 'png', 'jpg', 'jpeg', 'gif', 'webp','tiff', or 'bmp' format.
2. Additionally, you can also add a caption of about 80 characters to define the image that you have uploaded to improve the results (Recommended). 
3. Further, you can also limit your search to options such as Registration, Application and Priority years, Locarno and National Classes, Assignees, Alive records and Publication countries. 
4. Here, you can also decide the number of records you want to see on your Results page either by selecting a number or the AI Score.           

Pinning the uploaded image to your results page 

You can pin the image you uploaded in the Design AI image search form to your results page and position it anywhere on the screen, letting you view and interact with your search results more easily 

Note: 

Crop uploaded image prior to search: Helps you remove unnecessary portions of the uploaded image, streamlining your search results and improving accuracy 

When uploading an image, it's best that it contains only one object for which you want to view results. Uploading an image containing multiple objects may lead to irrelevant results. You also have the option to crop an image before uploading it.

By Design Number

In the AI search form under the Design No. tab you can search for Similar Patents.

To create Search, follow the steps below:

• Paste one or more Numbers in the box and click on the Search icon.
•  You can paste upto 5 numbers at once separated by a comma. 
• It will list out the numbers along with the titles 
• Then you can limit your search to the different options available like Registration, Application and Priority years, Locarno and National Classes, Assignees, Alive records and Publication countries. 
• Here, you can also decide the number of records you want to see on your Results page either by selecting a number or the AI Score.
