Litigation search form

Litigation search form can be used to create a search based on the litigated patent cases.

Following are the different ways in which the litigation search form can be used:

1. Search by Plaintiff and Defendant Names:

Enter the names of the parties involved in the case (the one filing the infringement suit and the one challenging it).

2. Search by Case Number:

If you have the case number of a litigated patent document, enter it to find relevant information.

3. Search by Case Filing Date:

Enter a specific date or a range of dates to find cases filed on those dates.

4. Search by Judge's Name:

Enter the name of the judge involved in the case to find relevant information.

5. Search by Jurisdiction, Court, and Case Status: 

You can search based on the jurisdiction, court, or status of the patent case.

Note: You can also create queries by using 1 or more of these search forms together. 

Navigating through the results obtained by the Litigation search:

After submitting your search query, you will be directed to a page displaying details such as the filing date, case number, jurisdiction, case status, and the number of patents involved in the litigation.

To view the litigated patents, click on the number of records. A window will open on the right side showing the details of each record.

The arrow option indicated in the image below will show you the details of that particular case number, for example the name of the Judge, the patent numbers and also the product names if any.

Exporting Litigation Information:

To export the litigation details you can select the cases as shown in the image below. The details will get exported in CSV format and additionally, you can also choose to view the patented cases on the result page.
