VizMap: Correlation Map
Correlation map shows correlations between two different fields. For example, let’s see how you can correlate relationship between top companies across different technology clusters.
Steps to generate the visualization:
- Select VizMap to launch the interface
- Under Select Mode option select Correlation Mode

3. After selecting the mode; under Select choose the required fields under Field 1 and Field 2 and click “View” to generate a correlation map for the selected fields

In this map, patent nodes are not shown on the map, instead the algorithm plots the two fields that you have selected and connects them based on how many patents are common to the fields. Two nodes having a high degree of common patents will automatically get closed to each other and will also have a thicker, darker line connecting them. The number next to each line represents the number of common records shared by the connected nodes.

Click on Download as PNG/JPG image option to save the map.
Saving the Chart to the Dashboard
You can save VizMap charts to the dashboard. You will find the dashboard under the quick stats tab on the project result page.

You can also Decide the Group on which VizMap is to Be created and analyzed
A key improvement to VizMap feature is now you have the flexibility to decide on the group to be analyzed using VizMap. When you apply filters to your data set and click on VizMap option, a window to select the appropriate option will be displayed
