File Index (FI) codes have been linked to Japanese records. You can view those in Biblio section of detail view. This is especially useful when you are viewing Japanese national records and their families.

You can also view the FI codes on the Search Result Page. You can also view class definitions for respective FI codes by doing a mouse over respective codes.
