How do I create a search based on Assignee / inventor country / city/ state?

An Assignee or Inventor country/city/state-based search can be created in both Quick search form and Command line search form.  

Steps to create the search in Quick Search form: 

1. In the quick search form, under the “Parties’ section” select the relevant field. So here you can create a search for –  

1. Assignee- Country, State, City, City Pin code, Address.  
2. Inventor – Country, State, City, City Pin code, Address 
3. Attorney- Address, Pin code. 

2. You can select the required field and in the search box you can enter the required details and create a search.  

Steps to create the search in Command line Search form:  

1. Click on the “Field code guide” to see the relevant field codes.  

2. Under the Parties section look for the relevant Assignee or Inventor Country / State / City field code that you want to search.  

3. Enter the field code in the command line search, followed by the required details. For example, ASNC stands for Assignee country and create your search.
