Enabling the PatAssist

Before using PatAssist, you would need to enable it first and then start asking questions. To enable a PatAssist follow the steps below:

First time enabling for a Patent Record on search side or inside a project

• Add records to a project from results page 
• Then once inside the project, click on PatAssist icon near a patent record

• Click on Review Gen AI Terms & Conditions - https://patseer.com/generative-ai-additional-terms/
• It will open a separate tab 
• Then come back to the PatSeer tab and accept the Gen AI Terms & Conditions

• Once you accept the Gen AI Terms & Conditions you can start asking questions to PatAssist as shown below

• Here, you will also be able to download or clear your chats with the PatAssist
• A number in the top right corner will indicate the number of credits available.

For a Project 

• Add records to a project from results page 
• Then once inside the project, click on PatAssist icon at the extreme right bottom of your page 

• Click on Review Gen AI Terms & Conditions
• It will open a separate tab 
• Then come back to the PatSeer tab and accept the Gen AI Terms & Conditions

• Once you accept the Gen AI Terms & Conditions you can start asking questions to PatAssist as shown below

IMP NOTE: Use the Assistant’s answers as guidance but cross-check for accuracy, especially for critical or high-impact data.  

NOTE: PatAssist needs to be enabled only once for your PatSeer account
